Mural painters cheer up Old Town Ballard Seattle during Covid-19 lockdown
The Old Town in Ballard is usually a vibrant hub of humanity, stores, bars, cafes, restaurants, and one of the best open-air farmers market in the country. But during the Coronavirus lockdown, almost all of them had to close their doors to wait out the storm.
Some of those local Ballard business boarded up their building frontage as if a hurricane were coming. Fortunately, a crew of generous local artists jumped in and added some colorful murals to cheer the neighborhood.
